  1. Roberto Briceno says:

    BEST CONTINUING OR LIMITED SERIES

    ALL-STAR SUPERMAN, DC Comics

    ****************************************
What a joke. Plus, I don’t think that Grant shouldn’t have won the award for best writer since the damn thing always missed a deadline. And I hate that BEST CONTINUING OR LIMITED SERIES are in one and not separate.

  2. These are such cool and odd wins! Jack Kirby! Grant Morrison! Al Jaffee!

Also, Brian K. Vaughan beat Chris Ware! Very badass, in its own super surprising way.

(In a response to Roberto Brinceno: I don’t know if the quality of writing depends on how quickly you write it.)

  3. Woulda been great to see Faber win the inking award, but Mark Morales certainly deserves the accolades! I got a chance to gush to him personally at last Spring’s Megacon. If you ever get a chance to see his inks over Jimmy Cheung in person, you’ll be stunned. Mark is one of comicdom’s secret weapons, as he makes everything he touches rock!!

  4. CBrown says:

    Nascar Heroes wuz robbed!
