Breaking news! THERE WILL BE COMICS AT COMIC-CON! Sparkplug Books, publisher of some of the best comics of Comic-Con — hopefully their booth will be MOBBED as they supply hundreds of quality comics by people like Benjamin Marra, Katie Skelly, Matthew Thurber and Noah Van Sciver to a comics-starved audience. Sony Online Entertainment has a lot going on for this November’s launch of the DC Universe Online game, including a fan event featuring Jim Lee and Marv Wolfman and a block party at SOE’s hq. VIP Beta keys will be available at all the events, as well.
Legendary Judge Dredd writer Pat Mills will be at the show with 2000 AD, which is putting out new editions of Dredd collections. Mills will also be signing outside of the show, in Costa Mesa. read on for details:
