Via their Facebook page, here are the winners of the 2013 Shel Dorf Awards, which were presented Saturday night at the Adoba Hotel in Dearborn as part of the Detroit Fanfare festivities. Clerks’ Brian O’Halloran presided. Jeff Smith, Craig Yoe and Steve Geppi——all on hand—received special awards.

The Beat was a loser again—this time to Decapitated Dan, whoever that if. But I was a winner the first time, so I have nothing left to prove!

  1. Jon Q. Citizen says:

I’ve been reading The Beat for at least 5 years, and it’s always the first Comcs Industry site I visit when I log onto the internet, so you are always the winner in my book!

It’s great to see Saga’s Creative Team is still showing strong, and that Godzilla was nominated (one of my fav’s!).
