  1. Not sure I would have called it “All-Star Superman”, since that really doesn’t mean much to the story. To the casual viewer, they may be wondering who the “all-stars” are.

  2. Dang, the Morrison commentary is only on the Blu-Ray. This and Scott Pilgrim might finally make me break down.

  3. I don’t what it is with the continuous cheap gouging of WB’s packaging and design of late- it seems the more you shell out for the two disc editions – the less you get in the special features. Now you’re absolutely forced to buy the blu-ray edition if you want the entire complete package (i,e; all the featurettes and bonus cartoons) – NOW with the release of the DC Animated Shorts collection: Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam last month- you have to shell out extra just to hear the commentaries on Blu Ray. Also the quality in the disc themselves has totally diminished (appearing as if they were freshly shitted off of a burner) and they don’t even include animated menus anymore nor nary a sign of a easter egg.

But yet, I spend more money on these animated discs than on the comics they’re based on themselves.

In case no one’s figured it out yet: I DON’T OWN A FREAKIN’ BLU- RAY PLAYER and neither do I plan on getting one in the foreseeable future (unless someone’s willing to write me a regular weekly paycheck)!!

Also to put the icing on the proverbial arsenic creme filled cake – BEST BUY stopped packaging them with the bonus action figures.

Since the link appears to be broken- can anyone please tell me on who’s featured in the animated short?

  4. X-Manny, just for the record: Denisof is no stranger to voicework on the DC Animated Universe – he’s done some voicework for Batman Beyond in the past.
