As we told you EXCLUSIVELY a few weeks ago, there are a few new Angry Birds games coming along, notably Angry Birds Space, which will debut on March 22:

The company says that Angry Birds Space is “the biggest game launch since the original Angry Birds.” It will include simultaneous launches in mobile gaming, animation, retail, and publishing.

Angry Birds was the 52nd game created by Rovio. The new space game will have numerous new characters and players can expect the science part of the game to be physically accurate, except of course that pigs and birds can’t breathe in space. On top of launching birds at pigs in zero gravity, the game will have a variety of other gameplay elements, including slow-motion, lightspeed destruction and other new features.

Doesn’t sound addictive at all. AT ALL.

Additionally, according to Royalty Magazine, Rovio will also launch Angry Birds Epic exclusively for tablet and console later this year.

Finally, Angry Birds could also team with Gene Simmons, of KISS fame; Simmons is a regular Stan Lee when it comes to pacting, as he tells Forbes:

So while the gaming world is waiting for the KISS games that are going to explode, we’re busy taking the brand to places where no band has gone before. So Hello Kitty is one of the biggest brands on planet Earth. Now there’s KISS Hello Kitty, which we’ve already launched in 90 countries. We’re talking with Angry Birds, KISS and Angry Birds, which will become a deal. The KISS and the Archie world have now teamed up and the first issues of KISS Archie comic books hits the world this month. KISS golf courses are starting in Las Vegas right across from the Hard Rock. That opens in January. It’s just endless what we can do, but we only do things when it’s right. Just because there are games, and just because there’s this or that out there, unless the deal is right and unless the content is exciting to our fans, we don’t do it.
