It’s not too early to think about 2013, is it? Egads. To wit, panel submissions are now open for C2E2 which will be held April 26-28, 2013.

Do you have something important to tell the world? From comics to cosplay, manga to movies, vampires to video games, C2E2 will present Panels and Screenings covering the breadth and depth of popular culture. If there’s something you’re passionate about and you’d like to shout it from the mountain tops, apply to host a panel or screening at C2E2 today!

Registration is open until January 10th, which is not too far away, so you better hop to it.

In other C2E2 news, the show has announced its first guest, Kevin Smith who will surely appear on stage and talk for hours, to the delight of his fans.

Now in its fourth year, C2E2 will move back to the “Northern Hall” this year. While I’ll leave Torsten to give the guided tour, this is the newer hall where the show was held in year two. C2E2 has struggled to find its place a bit, perhaps because it lacks that magic word “comic Con” in its title, but with branding making it clear this is a COMIC CON, it could get closer to the mark this year. Publishers were iffy on he show last year because of the expense of attending. Reed put on the crackerjack of a sho at NYCC and there is no danger of crowding at the vast McCormack Place, so we’ll see how this develops.

Meanwhile, three-day tickets for the show are now on sale, and we’ll doubtless have more news slowing soon for this and the other big shows of 2013.
