Fallen Son

  1. I’m not sure why this is supposed to warrant a spoiler; in face Newsarama put it up with the “spoilable” part right in their headline! So Cap gets buried in Arlington, and . . . Is the fact that it’s going to rain the surprising part?

  2. Did they use the grave that Nick Fury was buried in? And which symbol did they put on his marker? a cross? star of david? a stylized pentagram?
and did anyone protest Iron Man’s involvement? isn’t this mess his fault? smart guy didn’t think about Jack Ruby? Or at least some bulletproof vests?
And Arlington being so big, what’s to keep Lex Luthor or Cadmus from stealing the body?

  3. More poor stewardship.
If Marvel wanted to raise eyebrows, why not find a way to put Cap smack in the middle of the conflicts in the Middle East?
He fought the Nazis and Japanese in WWII – with some pretty racially insensitive covers, I might add.
Of course the nation has very strong and mixed feelings about the war, but a good writer could find a way to make it work.

  4. NOW they put out a spoiler? Why didn’t they do that when Cap actually DIED?? Every news outlet spoiled that for me!!
