Oh while you’re checking out all the Eisner nominees over at the CCI page, you probably noticed that they have a brand new website. We’re told it will encompass more original material and is easier to navigate and will have many other bonuses and extras, including an official BLOG. Update your RSS!

Speaking of CCI:SD, registration for press and pros is CLOSED FOR 2013.

That’s right, and it isn’t even 2013.

  1. My goal in 2014… get on the SDCC Guest List. Hahahah!

But seriously, nice to see so many people getting their props. And wow… what a change to the website. I do like that there is *less* scrolling with the new layout.

  2. Cool list of the usual Comic-Con ‘familiars’ and truly rarer, unexpected
‘special’ guests— looking forward to meeting/talking with Brunner, Conway, Dietch, Maggin, Mayerik and Tanghal, Sr. next year! (Got all those comics to ask about… and get signed.) Once again, looks like I’ll be bypassing the clusterf*ck lines for Hall H and Ballroom 20 for those panels in Rm s 4 and 8 instead…

Interesting too, how in just this first batch of Special Guests, with Brogsol, Feehan, Hicks. Sanderson and Simonson named, that SDCC has surpassed REED POP’s New York Con in the total number of women creators given the top tiered “Spotlight Guests” status— for the last couple of NYCCs. Thank you Jackie Estrada, for making Comic-Con not quite the Mainstream ‘sausage fest’ as it seems to be entrenched there in NYC!

And looking forward to additional Guests— m/f/otherwise— being announced as SDCC ’13 comes closer and closer.

  3. Thanks for the good writeup. It in truth used to be a entertainment account it.
Glance complicated to far delivered agreeable from you! By the way, how could we communicate?
