Morgan’s Altered Carbon universe. Written by Morgan with co-writer Rik Hoskin (White Sand, Red Rising) and drawn by Ferran Sellares (Grimm Fairy Tales), Altered Carbon: Download Blues offers a new 128-page-story following Takeshi Kovacs, the protagonist in this futuristic epic saga.
Technology has advanced to allow human consciousness to be stored digitally and transferred to new bodies called “sleeves,” if you can pay for this commodity. You never grow old and die, but some bodies are more temporary than others. Takeshi Kovacs knows what it’s like to jump from sleeve to sleeve, having been a member of the Envoy Corps and now currently working as a PI in a different body.
