Cult director David Fincher has been attached to a few comics comics movies (notably TORSO) and now he’s attached to another: Charles Burns’ BLACK HOLE. The film was adapted by Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary, and previously had Alexander Aja signed on to direct. Frankly, we’d prefer to see Fincher’s take on the award-winning tale of a sexually-tranmitted disease which turns teenagers into mutated monsters.
“has been attacked” ;)
Now, did this signing happen before or after he killed that guy in the car crash?
Scratch that, I read “Roger Avary” instead of “David Fincher.” I flipped flop the two, and I’m a moron. The end.
Gaiman and Avery… interesting choices. Personally, I’d have been interested to see what Joss Whedon would have done with the material.
Fincher’s a “cult” director? Really?
More comic movies I’ll manage not to see. At least this one won’t be advertised to my kids.
Here’s hoping it’s properly creepy. I wonder if they plan keeping the 70’s era setting?
