Just a quickie from the lobby — great show, great people, and also a fantastic mix of comics and genres, from comic strips to superheroes to indies to webcomics. Above, Rice Boy — read it!

  1. Always great seeing you, Heidi! Have a safe trip back.

  2. I wonder if anyone is posting audio or reports of the panels? I’m really interested in hearing the Willingham/Kindt panel after hearing Tom Spurgeon’s mini-report of it.

I’m surprised we haven’t reached the point where all “big” con panels aren’t streamed live.

Live video of panels at SD would go a long way to alleviating the congestion and “wah, I can’t get into the — panel” whinging.

  4. Tom Spurgeon says:

Ed, there’s a company that recorded a bunch of the panels that is posting them and has done so for a few years. I can’t remember their name though.

Before I say this, I want you to know I’m not affiliated with them…

you’d think that after doing panels with them all weekend, you’d try to learn their names and website, Tom.

  6. Tom Spurgeon says:

After yesterday’s extended travel following a long weekend, I couldn’t have told you my own middle name.

  7. Thanks, bros!

  8. Ed, Unfortunately we weren’t able to grab the Willingham/Kindt panel due to some technical difficulties on Friday, but we did snag most of the others. We’ll be posting them 1 or 2 a day, which is about as fast as I can get them out right now. There were definitely some good ones.

Mark, it has been my goal to live stream the panels for the last couple of years, but with the convention center charging an arm and leg for Internet access and phone reception being crap inside the building its a lot trickier than I would like. Hopefully next year will be the one.
