  1. This gets me thinking (always a dangerous proposition)… popular culture history is repeating itself between Marvel and DC.

    What do I mean?

From the 1940s through the early 1960s, DC superheroes dominated the comics industry compared to Marvel superheroes. Then suddenly, and inexplicably to those at DC, Marvel superheroes took off — and DC has been playing catch-up ever since.

In the film industry, from the 1950s – 1980s (particularly the 1970s and 1980s), DC superheroes (well, two of them anyway) dominated the film industry, while Marvel superheroes never seemed to be able to crack the Hollywood glass ceiling — except for a few notable low budget flops that bombed or were never even released to theaters. Then suddenly, about 10 years ago, Marvel superheroes finally managed to break the professional film barrier, and today have zoomed way ahead of DC in terms of character diversity and box office receipts, leaving DC playing catch-up all over again.

  2. Yeah and in FF2….. The most baddest cosmic supervillian “Galactus”………………..will..be ……A………….RAINCLOUND!!!! AWESOME DUDE CAN”T WAIT TO SEE THE TOP OF THE LINE CGI ON A CLOUD

  3. Oh yeah… the next webslinger Peter Paker/Spiderman will still have trouble with the “romance drama” with Mary Jane and STILL more self doubt and little confidence. Good pacing for a MAIN superhero going on the 4th movie…………..
