Jim Zub and Miguel Sepulveda Take Over Shadowman for Halloween

The Valiant solicitations for October have been published, and amongst them comes a one-off issue of Shadowman which has a few tricks up its sleeve. Shadowman #11 will be a Halloween special issue, written and drawn by the one-off team of Jim Zub and Miguel Sepulveda.

The issue is described as so:

It’s All Hallow’s Eve in News Orleans – and Shadowman’s about to find himself alone on the job, standing guard on the most dangerous night of the year. Still reeling from the fallout of his cataclysmic battle with Master Darque, can Jack go it alone and protect his city from the legion of evils that haunt the Halloween night?

But what really drew my attention to the submission, bonzer creative team aside, was the variant cover. Alongside the 8-bit covers which will be accompanying all the Valiant titles that month comes a third variant, especially for the holiday – a cut-out Shadowman mask, which you can wear whilst tricking and treating. It’s printed on a cardboard stock and perforated, so it should work quite nicely.

Get that on and see if it grants you strength against people in zombie fancy dress, eh? Unsurprisingly, the Halloween issue is released in October.
