Marvel has released the cover to the first issue of its upcoming FEAR ITSELF event, written by Matt Fraction with art by Stuart Immonen and Wade von Grawbadger. Steve McNiven provides the covers.

    OOohh…. who’s holding Thor’s hammer?

    What’s the symbol in the middle?

    And the signature reads “MNV Morales J-Po”, meaning McNiven, Morales, and Ponsor

    For once,MArvel has a good book design for their mega event.
    (Of course, Fraction being involved with it)

    @Alan: in contrast with Siege and Civil War, it’s milestones ahead of them. Tho’ the spines of the tpb’s will be feature the ugly Red Marvel thing again.
