Comments

  1. It’s now updated with Tom Mandrake drawing the Batman one shot and Andy Smith and Gordon Purcell drawing the JLA.

  2. Carnv says:

I like Tom Mandrake, but I was kinda hoping it would be Neal Adams.

  3. If they can get Dick Dillin to draw the Justice League of America again, I’ll buy it.

  4. Dick Dillin is sadly no longer with us.

George Perez would be a fitting alternative because he drew several Bronze Age JLA stories.

  5. I read the solicit of the JLA one and immediate went: Julie Schwarz is saving Earth Prime again?

  6. Earth-2 Chad says:

Where’s the Giffen-DeMatteis-Maguire JLI? Please tell me they didn’t cancel it.

  7. Snikt Snakt says:

Neal Adams is too busy doing the awful Batman: Odyssey.

  8. I’ve never seen a Supermannier Superman than that one, it’s awesome and rather heartwarming.

  9. Earth-2:

Giffen/DeMatteis/Maguire will be doing the JLA 1990’s Retroactive issue.

This month its all about the 70’s.

  10. RAGGEDT says:

I would have preferred Denny O’Neil doing Batman and Len Wein doing Justice League. While Bates did many JLAs, I still think of Wein as being the definitive early-70s JLA writer. And O’Neil is, well, O’Neil.
