Titan Books, UK purveyor of pop culture books, recently created a Titan Comics imprint, although they’ve been publishing comic strip collections, UK comics, and even the UK editions of DC Comics for decades.

Here are their upcoming books.  We here at Stately Beat Manor love pop culture in all its variations.  For many comics fans, and for comic books, it’s built on a foundation of science fiction.  Titan is a bit like the 80s, with all the cool stuff that most people don’t know exists, unless you know someone.   There’s a lot of classic stuff here, but some amazing new titles. I’ve highlighted the comics titles, to facilitate filtration for those who are only interested in comics.  Stuff that excites me is in purple.

But when it comes to superpowers, apparently you can indeed have too much of a good thing. With everyone able to destroy tower blocks with a single punch, any minor fracas escalates into a city-leveling combat, and the world is now in ruins as terrorism and war threaten the very survival of the planet.

What’s needed is a return to normality, to devolve back from Superhuman to just human – and there’s only one man for the job: down-at-heal, divorced New York plumber, Michael Fisher.
