Who’d a thunk there would be a bunch of Walking Dead events at New York Comic-Con? So unlikely. But it’s happening.

In addition to a private VIP party sponsored by Hyundai, there’s a Walking Dead Escape ONE DAY ONLY on the Intrepid, the floating battleship museum. That does sound pretty amazing.

If being chased by zombies on a battleship isn’t your speed, (And if it isn’t shame on you) there’s an art show that will be a bit more sedate. The Walking Dead: A Decade of Dead, is an exhibit curated by Sina Grace, former Editorial Director at Skybound Comics, that ceebrates the 10 year anniversary of The Walking Dead with rare artwork, famed illustrations and a signing by Charlie Adlard. The show runs for three days at Pillar37, 517 West 37th Street (between 10th and 11th). Hours as follows:
·         Thursday, October 10 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
·         Friday, October 11 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.;  9 p.m. – Midnight
·         Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
LImited edition prints are available each day.

On Friday, “THE WALKING DEAD: A DECADE OF DEAD, ” a short film about the history of the series, premieres, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. A 15 minute Q+A will immediately follow the 20 minute film.
