Jesus it was only yesterday we were saying how much we liked going to the Tin Fish to get a fish taco and a brew and relax. But now it seems even this functional area is being taken over by marketing — NBC to be exact:

The network will take over a large portion of San Diego’s Tin Fish restaurant (170 Sixth Avenue), located across the street from the Comic-Con site at the San Diego Convention Center. The space will be transformed into a series of themed experiences, allowing guests to enjoy a glimpse of the NBC’s new dramas “The Playboy Club” and “Grimm,” as well as new comedies “Free Agents,” “Up All Night” and “Whitney.”

GOD FORBID you just want to eat lunch!

  1. They did something with a game there last year didn’t they? Tin fish is always a great place to relax with a beer and people watch.

I’m starting to get a little worried about the size and scope of the spectacle outside the con. I think i may have to go to Coronado island to get away from the in your face aspects.
