Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have been spotted canoodling as they shopped around NYC. The pair play Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy in this year’s THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN.
While cast romance is manufactured or encouraged by press agents, some thespians can’t help falling in love — or lust — with their co-stars. Or sometimes two cute kids just can’t resist going steady. Somewhere, Jim Carrey is crying.
As long as they stay away from any romantic romps that include a bridge they should be just fine.
I don’t get the Jim Carrey reference…?
I think it refers to Carrey’s maybe-joking-maybe-not vlog in which he talks about how much he’s into Emms Stone and wishes he was younger so he could hook up with her.
Sets tend to create an environment of forced bonding and actors are a horny lot anyway, so this sort of thing is neither surprising nor rare. Two attractive, age-appropriate people forced to spend a lot of time together could develop an attraction, why not?
“I think it refers to Carrey’s maybe-joking-maybe-not vlog in which he talks about how much he’s into Emms Stone and wishes he was younger so he could hook up with her.”
I already thought Carrey was on the creepy side, something like this just further confirms it…
The cynic in me wondered if a creative marketer or agent might have put them up to this (“Go get photographed in a mall somewhere – the kids’ll love it!”), but there’s no mistaking those dopamine-induced grins. They’re in luuuuuuve.
Just be careful of the Green Goblin, Emma.
“Just be careful of the Green Goblin, Emma.”
Or the ‘web shooter’ in Andrew’s pants! :-O
Andrew Garfield is openly gay. This is a work.Jim Carrey wants to get on Emma Stone.
“This is a work?” Oh man, THE GHOST, if only I could call you up and ask you what you mean.
Andrew Garfield is NOT openly gay. You hear the same rumors you hear about everybody, but that’s the exact opposite of being “openly gay.”
