Are you here? Have you arrived? Leeds’ Thought Bubble Comic Arts Festival has reached the convention stage today, with guests including Kate Beaton, Mark Waid, Jason Aaron, Alison Bechdel, Andy Diggle, Fiona Staples, Kieron Gillen and a whole load of others. Image and 2000AD are also in attendance, along with a deluge of small-press and creator owned comics offering every single kind of thrilling experience you could ever imagine in paperback form.

Right now I’m probably stood somewhere in the middle of it all, wondering if I have enough money to buy a woolly TARDIS. If you’re at the show and see a skinny Yorkshire lad holding a microphone and desperately chasing after a fleeing John Allison, say hi!
