This Ergot 7 North American tour is quite interesting. Probably the best way to market this special art project. Since it’s bigger than “life”, why not an over-the-top book tour… “Sorry, sir, that comic cannot be carried onboard the plane, it’s too large. You must check it with your luggage”
The antithesis of the online digital comic!
I have to say I was wrong about KE7. When I finally saw it in person, I understood why it costs what it does and why it’s awesome despite the cost. I now badly want it and have asked everyone to chip in for it for my Christmas gift.
Also, the KE event in Pittsburgh was *awesome*. It was way more fun than any convention I’ve ever been to. It was everything a comic gathering should be – exciting, music, and lots of conversation.
Since when has the Drawn & Quarterly store, been located in Toronto? Last I heard, it was still residing in Quebec somewhere..
The world just keeps getting smaller. And the comics: bigger.
Thanks for catching that, Rich. The D+Q store is actually in Montreal, and I’ve corrected that listing.
When did this Secret Headquarters place open up around here? Never heard of the place.
