Dirge x Daily Gallery Show at Meltdown Comics, 7522 Sunset Blvd. L.A., CA 90046, 323.851.7223

Strung together and hung forever, Steven Daily and Roman Dirge have collapsed upon one another in an entropic wave that threatens to engulf all reality, or at least most of the second half of October!

Opening on Friday, October 13th at the Meltdown Gallery in Hollywood, CA is a most splendid exhibition from those masters of shadowy substance, Mr. Steven Daily and Mr. Roman Dirge. Attendees will be able to sneak a peek at the new collaborative book from Messrs. D & D entitled IT ATE BILLY ON CHRISTMAS as well as individual works of note from Mr. Daily. Mr. Dirge promises to lift himself from a bed of ennui and present drawings and perhaps a painting or something. We are fairly certain ‘something’ will not include a thrice-stabbed ham. This exhibition represents Mr. Dirge’s first gallery showing in more than a decade, so it is recommended that you take full advantage of the presentation from the moment it occurs.

HOW TO MAKE COMPELLING WEBCOMICS at MoCCA.

The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art continues its relationship with the New York chapter of Friends of Lulu as Lee Marrs teaches you how to put your comics on the Web. She will cover the intriguing difference between the linear and non-linear, the passive and interactive, and the straightforward and avant garde, while showing you ways to make your creations amazing. This will be the East Coast premiere of the Marrs Hypercomics Recipe, the subject of an independent study from Marrs’ M.A. in Multimedia studies. Plus, learn which Webcomics are worth reading! Also check out MoCCA’s amazing, century-spanning She Draws Comics exhibit for free.
