Montreal’s Galerie Monastiraki opens a new exhibition of work by James Kochalka (AMERICAN ELF, MONKEY VS ROBOT) today, with a vernissage and musical performance by Kochalka. The show runs through December 4 and will feature about 66 of Kochalka’s small 2×2 inch paintings, which are quite cute.
For those in the Bay Area, Kochalka will open a similar show next Saturday (November 15) at Giant Robot in San Francisco.
And speaking of ‘Frisco, Abby Denson wraps up her West Coast DOLLTOPIA tour this weekend, with no less than FOUR signings on San Francisco, starting with one today at 7 PM at Modern Times on Valencia Street. If previous appearances are anything to go by, fans should expect cupcakes.
