For what it’s worth: Chicago Comics isn’t downtown; it’s on the city’s North Side. (Specifically, Lakeview, not too far from Wrigley Field.) That might seem as far away as downtown if you’re here for the event in Rosemont, but it’s not.
Of course, the suburban location of Wizard World is just one of that con’s problems. The other is billing itself as a “Comic Con” when it’s not (and hasn’t been for several years).
