This sounds like an awesome event! It takes place at the downtown Midtown, 64 Fulton Street, corner of Gold Street.

Midtown Comics in New York City will present Fred Van Lente & Ryan Dunlavey, the creators of Comic Book Comics giving a panel discussion on comics history and signing copies of their new issue Comic Book Comics #5 at our new Downtown location.

Celebrate the release of Comic Book Comics #5 with its creators Fred Van Lente and Ryan Dunlavey as they discuss their new book!

Comic Book Comics #5 continues the incredible, insane true story of the American comic book industry with the ALL-LAWSUIT ISSUE! DC vs. Fawcett! Disney vs. the Air Pirates! Jack Kirby vs. Marvel! And that pales next to the all-out war over the rights to Miracleman!

Fred Van Lente and Ryan Dunlavey will host a panel discussion along with their legal advisor and Newsarama blogger Jeff Trexler on comics history and their book, Comic Book Comics. Van Lente and Dunlavey will be signing the book after the presentation.
