   I was bagging the books as people purchased them — it was a nonstop buying spree by the crowd. Every single book (I believe 5 cases ) were sold out in less than 30 minutes. Many left empty handed.

   GB Tran was great during the Q&A with some funny stories about his parents’ reaction to the book,”My dad is much less chattery now.”

   Of course I bought a copy, and wow! I highly recommend it. Skillful drawings and daring color pallet. Here’s the trailer for the book: http://vimeo.com/18734084

   A really fun night, and yes a packed house. Free admission and free wine & beer.

   MoCCA’s off to a great start in 2011.

   Thanks to THE BEAT for posting, and to everyone who braved the elements to celebrate with me and MoCCA! It was a fantastic time, and auspicious beginning to the next phase of the book’s journey.
