Comments

  1. Its nice to see that someone will be picking the Tenjo Tenge license AND releasing it completely uncensored. DC can eat it!

  2. Sholf Pern says:

I hate manga but I’m tempted to buy Tenjo Tenge just as an act of catharsis against censorship.

  3. Xenos says:

Why would you hate manga? Yeah, 90% or more of it is crap, but that could be said for American comics too. You can’t just look at a whole country and say you hate its creative output in the field of comics. There are surely dozens of series that are excellent and right up your alley.

Anyway, I’m very happy to see Tenjo Tenge is finally coming out uncensored in English. I can’t even express how angry I was at DC at how misguided their CMX line was. Tenjo Tenge was one of the few titles they had I wanted, and they totally screwed it over.

Sure Tenjo Tenge is full of T&A and is quite a bit on the pulpy side, but Oh! Great’s artwork is stunning.
