It seems like yesterday when the collective internet had their minds blown when Marvel Studios announced their slate of original Disney+ shows that included WandaVision. Then the pandemic occurred and the entire world was thrown in disarray.

The filming for WandaVision which began in November 2019 was halted a few months later in March 2020. Though production eventually safely resumed, MCU fans wondered they’d get their Marvel fix for the year since it’s the odds of Black Widow hitting cinemas grows dimmer ever second.

Needless to say, the last few days have been a bummer (and the entire year for that better), but fear not for during the social distance Emmys, the WandaVision trailer debuted!

Set to premiere in December, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their respective Marvel superhero characters. Debra Jo Ruppand and Fred Melamed make a brief appearance as the couple invited over to dinner.

We also get a brief appearance of Kathyrn Hahn whose role is still unknown and known simply as “a nosy neighbor.” The current fan theory is that Hahn is playing Agatha Harkness and given that she appears dressed in a witch Halloween costume, it lends more credence to the theory.

Calling it now, low-budget Vision dressing as himself is going to be a popular cosplay at conventions next year, when/if they ever return.

It’s clearly taking cues from the acclaimed Tom King solo series from a few years ago.

Moreover, in addition to the WandaVision trailer, the official Twitter and poster for the series were also unveiled.
