Here’s a list of the major comics and graphic novel publishers exhibiting at the American Library Association Annual Conference in Washington, DC, this weekend. This list is not exhaustive…many publishers offer the occasional graphic novel in their catalog, and all of the major publishers have graphic novel imprints as part of their larger catalog. If you’re there, try and wander every aisle…you never know what you’ll find!
ṦẄÊ̄ḜṮ ⱩĬŖḂɎ ƘɌÃČḴḸἚ! For $75, you can buy an “exhibits only” pass, and spend the entire show immersed in a great trade show with lots of programming offered at the many stages! (I’ll be posting schedules for all that soon.) Lots of authors signing books (some of them free!), lots of fellow bibliophiles, and the lines, which can be long, are nothing compared to San Diego or New York!
Here are the hours:
Friday, June 21: 5:30pm – 7:00pm – Opening Reception on the Exhibit Floor – For full conference registrants only
Saturday, June 22: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday, June 23: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Monday, June 24: 9:00am – 2:00pm – Closing Events on the Exhibit Floor
