Lion Forge has announced a whole new team with some very familiar faces. We told you that they recently hired Beth Scorzato as Managing Editor, bit they've added a bevy of industry veterans to a variety of positions, with Geoff Gerber, formerly,Lion Forge’s lawyer, taking over as preident, while founder David Steward remains as publisher. They've also added Rich Johnson, Syndee Barwick, Joseph Illidge, all formerly of DC, Devin Funches, formerly of Boom!, and Mark Smylie, founder of Archaia, in various positions so...a strong new team.

Last year, we reported that more than 60,000 people came to San Diego for SDCC without a badge. Staggering as that may seem, it's not hard to imagine given the impressive number of off-site events, installations, parties, and so on. We've rounded up some of the most prominent beyond-the-convention walls events at SDCC, but for a more complete listing, we recommend checking out this calendar created by our friends at The San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog (many nights have upwards of 50 events, way more than we can list here!).
