A young mariachi stumbles upon a cursed guitar given to him by a talking cat, inside of it dwells a powerful enchanter called Mui.

Como Termina La Canción is a 93-page comic that is currently available for free online in both Spanish and English. So, why is there a Kickstarter? In short, it’s so you can own a physical copy. Why should you support this comic? My readers, it isn’t often that a comic immediately catches my eye when I open the Kickstarter comics page, but in this case, CTLC was like a slap across the face. Pam’s use of colors and art style is phenomenal—especially considering the book is done in shades of blue, white, and black. Then, taking a moment to look through the story, I can’t help but compare it to Carole & Tuesday, The Boy and the Beast, or even Dorohedoro—although nowhere near as violent (haha). This story has strong anime parallels, blending fantasy, folklore, and heartfelt character growth. Its a story that is centered around queer, being unabashedly Mexican with a some fantasy, and humor but is still sincere. I cant wait to see more.

A tale of magic, love, and the delicate balance between our desires from the creator of Momotekku. Published by Koguchi Press.

SPARROWSONG is a 108-page fantasy graphic novel that’s all about love, magic, and the delicate push and pull of desire. And yes—you can grab it right now. Alxndra Cook (Momotekku) weaves a story that’s part folklore, part fairytale, and all heart. Loosely inspired by the Japanese tale Shita-kiri Suzume, SPARROWSONG follows a humble woodcutter who rescues a mythical sparrowborn from a vicious Crow-Witch. What starts as an act of kindness sparks something deeper—an unconventional romance between him, his wife, and the enchanting creature. But love, no matter how magical, isn’t without its challenges. This book is for fans of dreamy, intimate fantasy—think soft, ethereal palettes and tender storytelling with just the right amount of spice. If you’re into Japanese folktales, romantic throuples, mythical bird sirens, and a little fishing-instigated fornication (yes, really), SPARROWSONG is calling your name.
