Doctor Who Has a Superhero Team-Up In This Year’s Christmas Special

It seems Doctor Who will be jumping on the superhero band wagon for the Christmas special.

“The Return of Doctor Mysterio” will see The Doctor making a trip to New York to confront some aliens.  Since there’s a superhero involved, naturally he’s going to be teaming up with an intrepid reporter.  Let’s see… Moffat writing a Christmas special with a superhero and an intrepid reporter?  I’d say the odds are favorite a camp treatment of superheroes on this one.  Besides, I don’t see Moffat going dark or horror for a Christmas episode.  Considered yourself warned if you take your superheroes seriously.
