On Thursday, May 16th, 2023, Star Trek: Discovery season 5‘s antepenultimate episode, “Labyrinths,” will be released for streaming on Paramount+.

In advance of its debut, Comics Beat is thrilled to share this exclusive clip from the upcoming eighth episode of Discovery‘s fifth and final season.

“Labyrinths”

In the clip, Captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and the crew of the USS Discovery are continuing the search for the Progenitor’s technology at the edge of the Badlands. Joining Burnham on the Disco bridge are Commander Rayner (Callum Keith Rennie), Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wiseman), Lieutenant Gallo (Natalie Liconti) and Lieutenant Naya (Victoria Sawal).

“Labyrinths” was written by Lauren Wilkinson & Eric J. Robbins and directed by Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour. Here’s the official logline for the episode from Paramount+: “When Captain Burnham is trapped within a ‘mindscape’ designed to test her worthiness to retrieve the Progenitor’s powerful technology, Book (David Ajala), Rayner, and the crew of the USS Discovery must hold off the Breen long enough for her to escape.”
