The All-New, All-Different Avengers Annual #1 comes out in August and was announced with an all-star cast of creators including Mark Waid, G. Willow Wilson, Faith Erin Hicks, Mahmud Asrar and Veronica Fish, all with a cover by Alex Ross.
The conceit of the annual is that the stories are fan fiction written by Kamala Khan, aka Ms Marvel, who is a fan of the Marvel Universe. While the actual line-up of creators hasn’t been revealed, the above tweet would suggest that Faith Erin Hick sis drawing a story where Ms. Marvel meets the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Marvel’s other female fan favorite character. Hicks has a large body of work behind her including the recent The Nameless City, and if the above art is any indication this should, all new, all different and all cool.
