One of the highlights of Warner Bros’ CinemaCon panel last month was the first footage from Andy Muschietti’s anticipated Stephen King adaptation conclusion It Chapter Two. You can now see that extended teaser trailer including a creepy scene featuring Jessica Chastain‘s Beverly Marsh returning to Derry, only to discover a new tenant in her father’s old apartment.
Bill Skarsgard is back as killer clown Pennywise — that’s a really big hint of where that encounter goes, by the way.
The other big part of the sequel is that it will feature Chastain, Bill Hader, James McAvoy, James Ranson, Isaiah Mustafa and Jay Ryan as the older incarnations of the “Losers Club” played by Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jaeden Martell, Jack Dylan Grazer, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Wyatt Oleff and Chosen Jacobs in It (Chapter One).
You can see new pictures of both the new and original cast as well as Skarsgard below the new teaser trailer, as well as a cool picture of both casts when they appeared at CinemaCon last month.
It Chapter Two opens on September 6, nearly two years since the first part of the movie became one of the highest-grossing horror films of all time.
