It’s hard to escape One Piece, the massively popular manga and anime created by Eiichiro Oda. Just like Elvis, One Piece is everywhere. Now it’s going to be harder to escape because Bandai Namco Entertainment, Shueisha Inc., and Toei Animation will once again team up to hold “One Piece Day ’24”. The event promises to be the ultimate gathering for fans around the globe celebrating all things One Piece; manga, anime, games, and everything else.
In attendance will be the voices of the Straw Hats: Mayumi Tanaka (Monkey D. Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (Roronoa Zoro), Akemi Okamura (Nami), Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp), Hiroaki Hirata (Sanji), Ikue Ōtani (Chopper), Yuriko Yamaguchi (Nico Robin), Kazuki Yao (Franky), and Katsuhisa Hōki (Jinbe). Performers Hiroshi Kitadani and Otsuki Maki, both known for their various credit theme songs for the show, will perform on both days. Activities will include the production crew talking about the 100 best scenes from the series, a live radio broadcast, and events at various stages.
“One Piece Day ’24” will be held August 10th to 11th at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Japan. For fans outside of Japan, don’t worry. The event will stream on the official One Piece YouTube channel for anyone outside of the country. An archived version of the stream for anyone who can’t watch will be available for a limited time at a later date.

Taking place over two full days from Saturday, August 10 to Sunday, August 11, 2024(JST) at the Makuhari Messe, this large-scale event will be the ultimate gathering for fans around the globe. For the first time, the event will expand beyond the exhibit halls to include a live concert, making it the only event that brings together every aspect of the ONE PIECE brand – the manga, anime, movies, music, games, and merchandise – under one roof for an unforgettable experience.
The open stage in the exhibition area will feature various ‘ONE PIECE’-related panels and performances, with live streaming available for free on the official ONE PIECE GLOBAL YouTube channel, allowing fans to join from anywhere. Additionally, starting today, streaming tickets for the ‘ONE PIECE DAY ’24 SPECIAL LIVE’ concert are available on the Stagecrowd platform, enabling viewers to watch performances by the featured artists online.
In the exhibition area, an open stage will again be set up for this year’s event. Special programs featuring exciting guests, including the Anime “ONE PIECE” Best Scenes Poll -Top 100 Scenes Production Crews Find Memorable- and a live recording of the radio program “Mugiwara Space,” ( A Japanese Radio Program) are planned. This will be available to stream for free on the official ONE PIECE GLOBAL YouTube channel, allowing fans to experience the excitement of “ONE PIECE DAY ’24” from anywhere.
