Predator vs. Spider-Man writer Benjamin Percy and artist Marcelo Ferreira are now planning to pit the trophy hunting aliens against the entire Marvel Universe, with a five-issue miniseries, simply titled Predator Kills the Marvel Universe. Debuting this August, it will find the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and more all at the mercy of an entire army of the ruthless monsters.
It’s the bloody kickoff to an epic battle between the Predators and Marvel’s heroes! A Predator King, emboldened by a new vibranium arsenal and aided by a surprising human ally, launches an all-out invasion of Earth, claiming the planet as a hunting preserve! You’ll need to read to see just who – if anyone – will survive and to witness some shocking twists and turns, as the entire Marvel Universe finds itself in the Predator’s tri-laser crosshairs!
The series marks the culmination of Marvel’s previous Predator crossovers, Predator vs. Wolverine (2023), Predator vs. Black Panther (2024), and Predator vs. Spider-Man (2025), which Percy also wrote. In an interview with IGN, he teased both this series and the conclusion of Predator vs. Spider-Man (which debuted this week), saying “the playing field has not only been leveled, it’s tipped in the favor of the Yautja,” and that the title is “not misdirection: this one’s gonna hurt. Your favorite heroes and villains will fall — even as others rise up against this extinction-level event. The Predator King is here — the Yautja are armed with vibranium — and Earth is now a hunting preserve.”
The announcement continues a big week for the Predator franchise, and a big year for it overall, with the trailer for the next film, Predator: Badlands, having been released yesterday:
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (Prey), and starring Elle Fanning, the film will (unlike the comic) feature a Predator as the hero. Now, if you look closely, you’ll see Fanning is playing a Weyland-Yutani android, confirming the dream of Dark Horse’s Aliens vs. Predator series is alive and well. Will Marvel finally announce its own Aliens vs. Predator comic after Predator Kills the Marvel Universe? Only time will tell.
Badlands will be released in theaters on November 7, 2025, and be preceded by the animated anthology film, Killer of Killers (co-directed by Trachtenberg) on Hulu on June 6. In the meantime, Predator vs. Spider-Man will wrap up with issue #4 sometime in July, and Predator Kills the Marvel Universe will begin on August 13.
