This July, the legendary Daughter of Drakulon returns as acclaimed writer Tom Sniegoski reunites with Vampirella for a brand-new, apocalyptic adventure: Vampirella: Armageddon.

Set in the ruins of a post-apocalyptic world, Armageddon introduces readers to Sepulcher City the last refuge for both humanity’s last survivors and the supernatural. Within its fortified walls, evil still festers, but this city has a secret weapon: Vampirella herself. Now a private investigator based in the Menagerie, a district for monstrous beings, she teams up with her werewolf partner Dagwood to protect the vulnerable. But when busloads of immigrants vanish en route to the city, Vampirella is pulled into a sinister conspiracy connected to her own past and a brutal war raging deep in the underworld of Hell.

Sniegoski adds yet another chapter to his legacy following the success of Vampirella Strikes. Artist Kewber Baal (Elvira Meets H.P. Lovecraft, Vengeance of Vampirella) joins him to bring this dark new saga to life.

Sniegoski says:

“Writing Vampirella feels like slipping into a nice warm sweater. Out of all the characters I’ve worked with, she’s the one I understand best. Coming up with her next adventure is always a blast.”

Longtime fans will be thrilled by the return of beloved characters from Vampirella’s 1990s era, while new readers will find an action-packed, horror-fueled series that’s easy to dive into.

Vampirella: Armageddon #1 will feature stunning variant covers by Francesco Mattina, Lesley “Leirix” Li, and Joseph Michael Linsner. Superstar cosplay model Rachel Hollon also returns for a special photo variant, and artist Mark Spears will contribute two covers; including a special connecting piece tied to his own Monsters series.
