The Energize Lounge made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con last year as a quiet, cozy little place to grab bottled coffee, shop Hero Within products, and relax. It’s made a few changes this year.

First and most importantly, the Energize Lounge also has some non-coffee options this year as well as some food. There’s sparkling water, boxed water, and kombucha available as well as three new bottled coffee varieties: Captain Pike’s Place Vanilla Cold Latte, Mariner’s Madness Mix Caramel Cold Latte, and Janeway’s Just Java Black Cold Latte. The snack options are Sugar Pop Snack Bars or Dirty brand chips.

The seating and tables are still there, but around them are new sponsors. This year the Energize Lounge still features Hero Within, but it also has art selections from a pair of Star Trek artists, presence from Star Trek Wines, and a tricorder on display from The Wand Company.

If you want somewhere accessible to get away from the convention, this is a nice, Trek-themed place to do so.

The Energize Lounge is open through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and you can find it at 332 J Street.
