Poor Emma Stone. As lovely and charming as she is, she did not know that by answering some nerdy question on the red carpet she was stepping into a hotbed of fannish research. Well, it has actually happened. We've been covering the Spider-Man musical story since it was first whispered, 5 or 6 years ago, and last year, at the Foxwoods Theatre in Manhattan, the very first public performance of the musical, directed by theater great Julie Taymor, with music by Bono and the Edge, of well known rock band, U2. Some thought this day would never come.

...or at least have a storyline named after him. Teasers of Spidey's death have been revealed to be the ULTIMATE Spider-Man, not 616 Spidey. Brian Bendis and Mark Millar will do the deed, aided and abetted by Sara Pichelli, David Lafuente, and Leinil Yu.
