The much-anticipated “We Are Yesterday” crossover storyline between the Batman/Superman: World’s Finest and Justice League Unlimited titles arrives next month. DC publishing has been hyping “We Are Yesterday” story which promises to reveal the identities behind the mysterious Inferno organization that was introduced at the beginning of Justice League Unlimited.
Today DC unveiled details and covers for Justice League Unlimited #8 from writer Mark Waid and artist Travis Moore which will serve as the sixth and final part of the “We Are Yesterday” crossover. The publisher teased that the finale will have major ramifications including setting up the next major event in the DC Universe.
The Justice League stands alone as a wave of chronal mayhem crashes on the shores of their Watchtower base…but all hope is not yet lost! A last-minute mayday may just be enough to stem the tide…but for how long? This final issue also reveals the fate of Gorilla Grodd and marks a significant step in the next major event in the DC Universe!
Justice League Unlimited #8 will feature a main cover by Dan Mora with variant covers drawn by top tier comic artists including Ejikure, Tiago Da Silva, Salvador Larrocca and Travis Moore. In addition, there will also be a Pride variant cover by Absolute Wonder Woman artist Hayden Sherman as well as a tribute variant cover featuring art by the legendary George Pérez.
Justice League Unlimited #8 will be available for sale at participating comic book shops and digital retailers Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
